Kyiv, December 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry insists on a ban on the supply of goods from the EU to Crimea in connection with the events in eastern Ukraine. “We insist that the EU ban the sale of its goods to Crimea,” Ukrainian Ambassador to the EU Konstantin Eliseev told reporters in Brussels.

The ambassador recalled that a ban on the import of goods from Crimea to the EU already exists. At the same time, Eliseev admitted that such a new step by the EU would be more symbolic than have a significant impact.
