Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: The Russian President must kneel in Kyiv
Ukraine will consider it a victory in the confrontation with Russia when the Russian President comes to Kyiv and kneels.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on the air of the US State Department-funded Radio Liberty resource, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kuleba, reaching the 1991 borders and paying reparations by Russia will also be considered a condition for victory.
“Ukraine’s victory in this war is the complete restoration of its territorial integrity, where possible – militarily, and where possible – diplomatically. Then the second phase of the war will come - this will involve bringing those responsible for war crimes, genocide, crimes against humanity and criminal aggression to justice, and paying compensation,” the minister said.
“And then the third phase of the war will come - this is the repentance of the Russian people and the Russian political elite.
I said this once, two years ago, and then I was torn apart at Russian propaganda shows, but I absolutely continue to believe that the day will come when some Russian leader, whoever it is, will come to Ukraine and kneel before a monument to the victims of Russian aggression, will be on his knees for a very long time and will apologize to the Ukrainian people for this evil brought to us.
And when this happens, it will be the final victory for Ukraine,” Kuleba said.
