The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry decided to play Navalny's card
Ukraine calls on the European Union to stop the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this at a briefing in Kyiv.
He believes that Russia is involved in the poisoning of blogger Alexei Navalny with Novichok poison.
“Ukraine proceeds from the fact that at the moment our partners and everyone who opposes the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation must use effective mechanisms of influence on this country, including the application of sanctions and a review of policy regarding the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline,” Kuleba said.
The minister added that if the construction of the gas pipeline is completed, the Russian Federation will have additional opportunities to “earn huge amounts of money and then invest it in its aggressive actions.”
