The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry believes that it is more dangerous for Ukrainians to travel to Russia than to Somalia
Kyiv, March 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine urged Ukrainians to think about the advisability of traveling to Russia.

The Foreign Ministry notes “the lack of a humane attitude towards Ukrainians on the part of Russian law enforcement agencies, their behavior incompatible with human dignity, and the use of unacceptable methods of physical and psychological pressure, including torture, against our compatriots.”
The department recommends that citizens of Ukraine, when planning trips to the Russian Federation, realistically assess the existing risks and existing threats and carefully weigh the need for such trips.
If any cases of detention, inhumane behavior, physical and psychological pressure on the part of Russian authorities or citizens arise on the territory of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends that Ukrainian citizens “immediately contact the hotline of the Ministry’s Rapid Response Center or directly the hotlines of Ukrainian consular offices located in territories of Russia in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg."
Let us note that, for example, in the section on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding visits to countries in Africa or the Middle East, there are mainly general phrases about caution, but there are no recommendations to think about the advisability of traveling, for example, to Somalia.
