“The most urgent issue is stopping Nord Stream 2 and subordinating all relations between the EU, Ukraine and Russia to the European rules of the game. We want to live according to European rules and we call on both Brussels and Germany to do this. It is very important for us that the United States provides us with support and calls on Germany to reconsider its approaches,” said a Foreign Ministry representative.

“Who else but Ukraine knows what element of pressure gas is. All these statements that even during the Cold War Europe always received gas from the USSR do not work in today's problems, and those politicians who turn a blind eye to this fact will be very severely disappointed. For Moscow, gas is the same weapon as Buks and Russian tanks,” added Alexey Makeev.
