A migrant who broke into Lithuania was beaten to death. The body was thrown at the border
Lithuanian security forces threw the body of a beaten refugee in a sleeping bag onto the border at the Vidzy border outpost.
The State Border Committee of Belarus reports this on its website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Not far from the place where the corpse was found, during search operations in the border zone, three more citizens, according to words, of Sri Lanka without documents, were found. All of them were in an extremely exhausted state with signs of frostbite on their legs. The refugees said that while on the territory of Lithuania, they were beaten by Lithuanian security forces. They were also frightened and service dogs were set on them. The consequences of such a “humane” attitude are numerous injuries and complaints of unremitting pain,” the report says.
Belarusian border guards promptly provided assistance on the spot and called an emergency medical team. They are now hospitalized.
“Another corpse on the border. In my opinion, we are already talking about 13 dead. I wonder if the ambassadors of the European Union countries will go with flowers to the sites of these murders? However, you yourself know the answer,” Belarusian political scientist Alexander Shpakovsky commented on the situation in his Telegram channel.
