Mikhail Leontyev: If Ukraine blocks gas transit, Europe will bomb it.
Kyiv, August 13 (Navigator, Yuri Kovalchuk) – Ukraine will not dare to block the transit of Russian gas, because this will end the EU’s favor towards Kyiv, and the most stringent measures will follow, TV presenter Mikhail Leontyev said in an interview with the Russian News Service.

“Firstly, they won’t block the pipe, but they will bully him for a long time. Then, if they shut off the pipe now, I don’t know what the reaction will be. But if they block the pipe in the fall, then Europe will bomb Ukraine. They don’t want to block the pipe, but to slip in some kind of “honeypot” that will steal money during transit,” says Leontyev.
He is confident that by blocking the transit of Russian gas to Europe, Ukraine will lose EU support.
“There will probably be some losses if this is true. They won't be around for long, because they won't be tolerated for long. They pamper them, that is, on the one hand, they have them in the economic sense, but in the political sense they pamper them - they can do anything. They can shoot down a plane and tell them that it wasn’t them. They can bomb European cities and shoot with Grad, and call it an “anti-terrorist operation.” This audience has gone completely crazy. And so, out of disgust, she decided to cut off the gas to Europe on her own. For many years we have been trying to prove that Ukraine is an unreliable transit country, so pipelines are needed to bypass this unreliable transit country,” Leontiev asserts.
