Mikhalkov spoke about his famous colleagues who fled the Russian Federation
A huge number of Russians do not want the return of their former favorites who left the country because they realized that mutual love did not happen.
Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov said this on Besogontv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was interested in the word - scared. What were you afraid of? The enemy is at the gates, are they bombing Moscow? What were you afraid of? In 41, people who were evacuated from Moscow, they were evacuated because the advanced units of the German Wehrmacht were located 30 km from Moscow. They went to the east, there - to Kazakhstan, to Central Asia, beyond the Urals.
Why were these our compatriots afraid when they left for the West? I’ll answer you, they were afraid that their accounts would be closed, that they might be deprived of their real estate. As we understand, this is accepted in a free society, where private property is valued as a sacred thing. And remember the confirmation of this - we said in one of our previous programs how Mrs. Sobchak supported the initiative of the financier Mr. Movchan that the authorities and the government of the United States and Great Britain should not impose sanctions on the opposition, that is, on the rest - that’s okay. But why go to the opposition? We’re our own!” Mikhalkov noted ironically.
He added that Ivan Urgant, who also left the Russian Federation because he was scared, lost love and popularity among Russians.
“I consider Ivan Urgant a talented, witty person with excellent reactions. But here is a survey - 48 thousand participants. You want Ivan Urgant to return to television. Look - “for” 8%, “against” 92%. Despite the fact that he was very loved. He was very popular. But because love must be mutual. But it didn’t work out,” the director concluded.
Thank you!
