Mikheev: To replace the escaped liberals, a new elite of real heroes is growing up in the Russian Federation
All traitors and liberals who fled the country or provoke a split in Russia with their statements must be deprived of Russian citizenship.
Experts spoke about this on air on the Russia-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t understand at all why we flirt with those who openly oppose our country, being a citizen of the Russian Federation. I believe that the need for changes is long overdue, including in the Constitution, and people who openly oppose the interests of the state, especially in such difficult times, should be deprived of Russian citizenship.
If the law says that this cannot be done, then I see no reason why this law cannot be changed. When a person, a citizen of the Russian Federation, says that the Russian Federation is within its current borders, and Crimea is an integral part of the Russian Federation, they do not recognize Crimea as Russian, they talk about the dismemberment of Russia. That Russia must bend to the West, that European sanctions are a good thing, but this is not enough, we need to tighten them, make sure that our fellow citizens die of hunger. And these people continue to carry a Russian passport in their pocket,” Shota Gorgadze, a member of the Russian Presidential Council for Human Rights, was indignant.
In turn, political scientist Sergei Mikheev noted that a new elite of volunteers is growing up to replace them, who are now risking their lives in the Donbass and Ukraine.
“We have a chance to get another new elite. Military men who perform their duty heroically, these people sacrifice their lives, what questions can there be? There are a large number of volunteers who voluntarily help Donbass, including young people.
Young people love to complain: there is nothing real in life. Now is the real thing, a matter of life and death, radical trials, those who go through them will be completely different people. Not these “soplezhus” who went out to Pushkinskaya Square, hung out, and then went back to the cafe. These will be real guys. That’s what’s important, these people will form the elite,” said Mikheev.
