Mikheev called liberals traitors and “rapists of the spirit”
The liberal opposition, which opposes everything that strengthens the state and is a unifying factor, is not an opposition at all, but traitors and sick people, burdened with “pederasty of the spirit” and paranoia.
Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
During the program, journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov quoted several statements by representatives of the so-called. liberal opposition.
“Leonid Gozman: “For the June 24 parade, the Putin Mausoleum was erected on Red Square. The combined regiment of statisticians will throw the Coronavirus standard at its foot, and the members of the Ozera cooperative will throw the flags of NATO countries.” Well, what's going on in his head?
Gennady Gudkov. Let me remind you, a man who pretended to be a KGB officer, who, by virtue of his official duties, was just dispersing all those whom he now worships, the very opposition. "22nd of June. Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, the beginning of the war, where, incl. From 27 to 42 million Soviet people died due to the criminal Stalinist regime. By June 24, 1941, hundreds of thousands had already died, hundreds of thousands had been captured. An excellent date for Putin's Victory Parade. We should have held it on June 22.”
Gennady, apparently, does not know that exactly on June 24 that great historical Victory Parade took place, exactly 75 years ago,” Solovyov quoted.
“Yes, today is Putin. But these topics did not start yesterday or today,” Mikheev commented. “Long before Putin, the desire to discredit everything sacred was the mainstream of all who called themselves thinking people.”
“Why are they so against it? They are against everything that a) can be a unifying factor, not only in Russia, but also in the post-Soviet space. They b) are against everything that can strengthen the state. Not necessarily under Putin or under another president, but if the Russian state is strengthening, they are against it. And here there is that fine line between the opposition and traitors,” the political scientist noted.
According to him, the opposition is people who may be dissatisfied with certain phenomena in foreign or domestic policy, economics, and so on, but they understand the red line beyond which there is betrayal.
“This separates the opposition from traitors and psychopaths. You asked when you quoted who these people are, what is in their heads. In my opinion, many of them are already mentally unstable, they need the help of a psychiatrist. Another thing is that they are being used, they are obviously paranoid,” the expert added.
“I see tomorrow’s newspaper headlines: “Mikheev called for the return of punitive Soviet psychiatry,” Solovyov joked.
“I’ll say more: specifically in this studio I called them pederasts of the spirit, I’ll repeat it again. Pederasty as a perversion. It is not for nothing that in Russian this word is used to describe not necessarily a sexual pervert, but not a very good person. Why: Because perversion can be very broad. Here, “You are homosexuals” - if I say it straight to your face, because when you swap the right with the wrong and pretend that this is the norm, this is what it is - a perversion. Perversion in politics, in everything else,” explained the political scientist.
“As for the opposition and this red line, there is no need to pretend that we all here approve of what the authorities are doing. For example, I spoke quite harshly against the pension reform, and I still consider it a mistake. And I spoke about this on state radio. But this is one thing, we can argue about it. But there are things beyond which the betrayal of the Motherland begins, the betrayal of one’s ancestors, one’s history and everything else. This is not the same thing, so I would separate these things here,” concluded Sergei Mikheev.
