Nikolaev, July 27 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Nikolaev, the police cleared passage along the Varvarovsky Bridge, pushing back the protesting mothers and wives of military personnel who had been blocking the bridge crossing for two days.

The operation to free the passage took place at 13:15, as a result of which police officers encircled the pickets and pushed them to the side of the road, reports the Nikvesti publication.
There were a number of clashes between law enforcement officers and women. Some of them threw themselves under the wheels of passing cars, splashing water and throwing bottles. Several people were detained by police and placed in paddy wagons.
As Navigator reported, the women stood at the bridge all night, demanding to organize a corridor for the withdrawal of the 79th brigade.
