Law enforcement officers tried to detain people with banners and flags of the “South-East”, but the protesters fought them off from the police.
“Three people who came to this rally with the flags of “Novorosiya” or “South-East” were immediately detained, their identities were established and taken into account. And the individuals themselves were fingerprinted (fingerprints were taken from them),” Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said on his Facebook page.
As Navigator reported, Kharkov Mayor Gennady Kernes canceled events for City Day as inappropriate during the ATO.
