“Millions of beggars are fleeing the country” – ex-Rada deputy summed up the results of the Maidan
The 2014 coup in Kyiv led to the collapse of the entire Ukrainian economy, the death of five largest industries and millions of impoverished migrant workers fleeing the country.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, founder of the Union of Left Forces Vasily Volga said this on the YouTube channel “Voice of Truth,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Maidan that happened seven years ago has no positive results. Seven years ago there was a coup d’état – an anti-Ukrainian, anti-people, anti-state phenomenon. A phenomenon that is extremely dangerous, which led to the destruction of the economy and the loss of five industries.
We were one of nine members of the space club - the space industry was ruined. The aircraft industry is ruined, the mechanical engineering industry is ruined, the shipbuilding industry is ruined, the automotive industry is ruined. Just seven years ago, we produced more than 110 thousand passenger cars a year, both nationally produced and assemblies. To date, we have not produced a single passenger car in seven years,” he said.
Vasily Volga emphasized that while some “patriots” are earning large fortunes in Ukraine, many millions of poor people are forced to flee the country in search of work.
“At a peak of 10 to 12 million, last year and the year before last, guest workers worked in Poland, Russia and other countries. We lost our jobs en masse, and there was an incredible stratification in the incomes of citizens.
A layer of patriots has appeared who earn enormous money here, and many millions of beggars who have fled the country. And, the worst thing is the rift, the line that ran through our families. This happened in my family too, in other families. We lost friends and acquaintances who suddenly succumbed to this influence of Ukrainianism, which so easily becomes Nazism,” the deputy concluded.
