The Ministry of Energy is making fools of Ukrainians in order to take advantage of Gazprom

Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection Alexei Orzhel announced this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The decision to prepare our underground gas storage facilities was made by the previous minister; even then it was clear that we had to prepare for the winter. But in fact they are even better prepared.
They have been prepared in such quantities so that we can get through the winter period with a stable gas supply, especially when we have the risk that gas transportation (from Russia) will be stopped.
This means that we have 30% more gas reserves than usual. This means that with these gas reserves we can fully exit the heating season and ensure gas supplies in reverse mode, providing gas to every Ukrainian,” Orzhel assures residents.
Let us note that, according to Ukrainian experts, the absence of Russian transit gas in the Ukrainian gas transportation system will not allow the “Nezalezhnaya” pipeline to pass through the autumn-winter season without incident.
