The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is creating its own SMERSH
Kyiv, August 30 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – They will create their own SMERSH under the Ministry of Defense, said the head of the department Valery Geletey.

“To identify and neutralize enemy agents, cases of non-compliance with combat orders of commanders and cases of desertion, a special service of the Ministry of Defense is being created under my direct subordination. It will be somewhat similar to SMERSH and will work, first of all, on the front line and in military command and control,” Geletey wrote on his Facebook page.
He also noted that “the creation of such a service is extremely urgent today, because law enforcement agencies are not able to independently rid the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the forces of the anti-terrorist operation from the Russian “fifth column.”
In addition, Geletey emphasized the importance of non-disclosure of information about the movement of Ukrainian military columns, their number, weapons, etc., as this could cause serious damage to the army.
“Those who “fight” only on the Internet and communicate on a mobile phone, while divulging information about the operational situation (time and routes of movement of columns, the number of personnel and their affiliation with one or another military unit, type, quantity of weapons and military equipment, etc.), apparently do not realize the level of threat caused by such actions, and pose a particular danger to the combat effectiveness of the troops,” the Minister of Defense wrote.
As Navigator reported, previously the leadership of the ATO and the General Staff were repeatedly accused of unprofessionalism. Presidential Advisor Yuriy Lutsenko urged not to undermine trust in commanders.
