“There are many people left on the territory of Ukraine who sympathize with us. They are waiting for us there. We will get there, and we would like to get there faster. The new reform of the Ukrainian school has a destructive function. Thank God, a backbone remained in Ukraine - Soviet teachers who know what pedagogy is, and not what they declare now. They understand that the reform that has now been presented in Ukraine does not lead to the development of society. And our reform in the DPR leads to integration with the Russian world,” she said.
“I remember when they broke me, a young teacher, and demanded that I give lectures in Ukrainian. But I can't do this because I think in Russian. In order for my work to be effective, I need to share my knowledge, I can only do this in Russian. And so do most of us. Therefore, the main goal of the education and science system is to preserve its identity,” the minister emphasized.
“We need to reach the borders of the Donetsk region as quickly as possible, but even when we do this, we cannot stop. They are waiting for us there in Ukraine,” Polyakova reminded once again.
