Groysman's minister suspects that bird flu came to Ukraine “not by accident”
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Kutovoy instructed the head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection to intensify efforts to combat bird flu.

He said this during a meeting with journalists today, the Kiev publication LIGA.net reports.
“I set clear tasks for Vladimir Ivanovich (Lapa, head of the State Consumer Service - ed.), and he outlined them for himself, in the context of localization. There is more politics here... I suspect that these things are not accidental,” said Kutovoy.
The minister added that he also expects Lapa to take effective action in the context of combating ASF, bird flu, and dermatitis.
“If I don’t see an opportunity to resolve these issues faster than they were resolved before, I think I will pose the issue even more categorically. If people cannot cope with tasks, then we need to look for new ones who can cope,” the minister said.
At the same time, he refused to assess the professional capabilities of the head of the State Food and Consumer Service.
