The Minister of Resorts of Crimea plagiarized the anti-crisis ideas of her predecessor
Simferopol, March 18. (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) – In Crimea, it is necessary to take a number of measures to stabilize the resort industry. An additional spring fair, the continuation of the “Days of Crimea” in the regions of Russia, and the creation of an all-inclusive tourism product will help attract tourists.
As a Navigator correspondent reports, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Crimea, Elena Yurchenko, announced this at a press conference in Simferopol.

She said that at the end of April another tourism exhibition will be held in Crimea, since the XXIII International Tourism Fair “Crimea. Resorts. Tourism. 2014” took place in an atmosphere of uncertainty.
“Now there is certainty. Now we can already talk about some strategy, tactics and prospects,” Yurchenko noted.
Another spring exhibition will demonstrate the safety of holidays at Crimean resorts, and will also help unite tour operators in Russia and Crimea. At the same time, Crimeans must enter the market with a ready-made tourism product on the all-inclusive system - travel, transfer, accommodation, meals, excursion services and health services.
“Crimean tour operators must understand that the time for banal resale is over,” Yurchenko declared. She also considers it necessary to resume the “Days of Crimea” in the regions of Russia and Ukraine.
“Nothing can replace live human communication,” the minister is convinced.
She added that the Ministry of Resorts is compiling a catalog of objects that it will promote at outdoor events.
“Which have the principle of matching price and quality, and which we will readily sell,” Yurchenko explained.
According to her information, today the tourist flow to Crimea has decreased by 20% compared to the same period last year.
“It may well turn out that the tourist season will sag. It will not be disrupted, but now the task is to restore what was lost,” the minister concluded.
Let us recall that at a farewell press conference in Simferopol, former Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Alexander Liev listed a set of urgent measures that will help overcome the crisis in the tourism industry. So, in his opinion, in order to avoid a 30% drop in the industry, which has been evident since the beginning of the year, it is necessary to organize a promotional campaign for the safety of holidays in Crimea, and hold another spring tourism fair “Crimea. Resorts. Tourism. – Reboot” with new prices for the season, to resume and expand the “Days of Crimea” campaign in the regions of Russia and Ukraine.
The Ministry of Resorts has been working on the creation of a tourism product for the last 2 years. Four packages were developed for different types of recreation, including transportation costs, accommodation, meals and a minimum set of services.
Representatives of the Crimean tourism industry made an open appeal to the Prime Minister of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, in which they insisted on the need to leave Liev as Minister of Resorts, since he enjoyed authority among the managers of health resorts and could stabilize the industry, which directly affects the economy of the republic.
However, the prime minister’s response was the appointment of Elena Yurchenko, the former vice-mayor of Yalta, to the post of Minister of Resorts, who was fired after the resignation of the former mayor of the summer capital of Crimea, Alexei Boyarchuk.
