The Ukrainian Defense Minister declared World War III and called on the West not to be afraid to raise the stakes
World War III began on February 24, 2022.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov in an interview with Sky News.
Interviewers asked the Ukrainian minister what message he would like to convey for NATO.
“Please don't feel any tiredness. Please continue your support. Don't be afraid of a new level of escalation with the Russians because, in all honesty, World War III was started on February 24th of this year. This is completely honest and this is real life. Don’t be afraid,” Reznikov replied.
He explained that Ukraine is the first battlefield in this war. And if it falls, the next battlefield will be European countries.
“Don’t be afraid, and we will win together,” Reznikov encouraged the Westerners.
He was also asked about a message directly to the Kremlin.
“We are not going to give up. We are neighbors, and people who live in Russia - they will have sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, and you have destroyed this communication between peoples for the next 50 years,” the minister said, completely ignoring the previous Ukrainian contribution to this breakdown in relations between countries , expressed in the deliberate escalation of Russophobic policies over the past eight years.
“Don't be afraid.”
Ukraine's defense minister, Oleksiy Reznikov, urges NATO to continue its support for Ukraine and not grow “fatigued” by the ongoing war.
