“While we are negotiating the supply of weapons that can stop Putin, there is information that the Ukrainian armed forces and the Minister of Defense are selling weapons to terrorists, which are used to kill our military personnel,” the Minister of Defense told reporters. – And this is done by a political force and its leader with extensive work experience – Yulia Vladimirovna – publicly near the SBU. Moreover, the emphasis is placed on the fact that it is the Minister of Defense who sells weapons.”
According to the head of the defense department, his ministry does not have the authority to sell weapons at all. Valery Geletey also said that he contacted the Prosecutor General’s Office, which ultimately did not discover any facts of the sale of military property from the time he headed the department.
Now Yulia Tymoshenko is awaiting trial.
“I want her to apologize,” the minister said. – No, not in front of me, but in front of every fighter, especially in the ATO zone, so that he would hear that the Ministry of Defense did not sell weapons. We will force her to refute and apologize to every serviceman in the ATO zone.”
On September 26, a group of people's deputies led by Yulia Tymoshenko submitted a statement to the head of the SBU, asking to open a criminal case on the facts of the sale of weapons during hostilities and corruption in the Ministry of Defense.
