“Should there be a veil over this relationship? Young people dream of great love. It is unlikely that they will be satisfied with sex education, as in German schools. Each parent chooses when to talk to their child about this if they want to be heard. Not a single parent, I am sure, wants there to be no great love in the life of their child, no friendly and good family, no children. Simplifying human relationships does not lead to beauty. I am against the fact that this beautiful flair should disappear from our lives,” said Vasilyeva.
She also refused to comment on sex scandals in Moscow schools.
“Monitoring relational things is quite difficult. Almost impossible. It is my deep conviction that such cases have never been and will never be widespread. There are people who discredit the title of teacher. Let the court determine the extent of their responsibility,” said the Minister of Education.
