The Minister of Education of Ukraine told how to clear schools of separatist teachers
Ukrainian teachers who interpret the school curriculum in their own way should be fired for immoral behavior.

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Grinevich stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian Week magazine, answering the publication’s question on how to “cleanse the school of separatist teachers.”
“I want to emphasize that there are educational standards that teachers must meet. They describe the content of the programs to be executed. Unfortunately, among teachers there are those who, even having a fixed program, interpret it in their own way and conduct anti-Ukrainian propaganda,” the minister claims. – Therefore, a difficult question arises: how to identify these teachers and what management decisions to make regarding them. Today, only the school director can fire them. According to the Labor Code, teachers can only be fired for immoral behavior.”
The publication’s interlocutor explained the ministry’s position on this matter.
“We have repeatedly noted that a teacher’s agitation at school against the territorial integrity of Ukraine should be considered a manifestation of immoral behavior. The teaching staff and the trade union must qualify such behavior and make the appropriate decision (in accordance with labor legislation). Based on their decision, a person can be fired for immoral behavior,” believes Grinevich.
“As for me, during military aggression, the current legislation of Ukraine should be tough,” the minister added. “Therefore, it is necessary to amend it and clearly state that teachers who speak out from unconstitutional positions (especially while on duty) should not remain in their positions. Then we will be able to hold teachers accountable for carrying out anti-state agitation.”
