Ukrainians are increasingly not registering marriages, refusing to create an official family, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the publication “UAinfo” with reference to the words of the Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva.
Rev believes that young families refuse to officially register their marriage because they do not feel supported by the state.
Future parents, according to the minister, must understand that the birth of a child in an official marriage is a necessity.
The state should facilitate this through various financial incentives and housing loans. In addition, according to him, it is important to make social advertising of family relationships and family values, which is currently missing.
Let us add that according to the Ministry of Social Policy, in Ukraine since 2000 the number of single mothers has increased 22 times.
