Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan believes that the state budget needs to provide funds for the repair and construction of new runways, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this at a meeting in Ivano-Frankivsk, reports the Government Portal.
“Starting next year, it would be good to provide 10 billion UAH in the Ukrainian budget for repairs and construction of new runways. If we have this money, we will be able to build five quality airports in the state every year,” he said.
According to him, this will create new infrastructure and improve the quality of service for Ukrainians.
Omelyan hopes that such an initiative will be supported by the Prime Minister and the President.
