Minister of Yanukovych: the authorities hid behind gays in front of Europe so as not to interfere with theft
The “March of Equality”, which was held yesterday in Kyiv by representatives of the LGBT community, is a “means of flirting with Europe” for the current government, which is covering up the collapse of the state with an ostentatious fight for “European values.”
This opinion was stated by former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, the “Equality March”, which takes place under police guard in a fenced area, is not a sign of real freedom in the country.
“People surrounded by police and parole, surrounded like criminals... Is this equality? Is this a reason to be proud? This is not how I imagine pride. This is a reason for PITY. LGBT guys, I have a few questions for you:
1. Nobody in power supports you, have you noticed? They are ashamed of you. But they are happy to use you. Both the authorities and the grant-eaters. Do you understand this?
2. You will be allowed to walk around the area fenced off by the police for half an hour, for the sole purpose of reporting on the protection of LGBT rights, so revered in Europe. This is a special operation “report to the EU”: “gays are fine, don’t interfere with the robbery.” Is this clear to you? Today you will be a screen, a fig leaf, a MEANS for the authorities to change the topic of destroying the state to the topic of protecting LGBT rights. Do you like being a MEANS?” writes Lukash.
