It is reported by the press service of the Ministry.

A number of conditions were imposed on students in solo singing, cello playing, and symphony orchestra groups regarding their work for the competition.

In addition to the standard requirements for authorship and non-plagiarism of works, competitors are now required to take into account the resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada on decommunization and the laws of Ukraine recognizing Russia as an “aggressor.”

A separate paragraph notes that programs converted from music programs of the Soviet period will not be considered. Preference will be given to programs developed on the basis of Ukrainian folk, classical and modern music, as well as works of modern Ukrainian composers. The department came to the conclusion that in the USSR there was no music worthy of Ukrainians learning the art of music.

Also in the recommendations for future musical works it is noted that modern European musical art is now a priority for training.
