The Ministry of Culture intends to reduce by four the number of Ukrainians with access to Russian TV
Almost four and a half million Ukrainians currently have access to Russian television via satellite.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Vladimir Borodyansky stated this on air on “112,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Ukraine, about 4,4 million households watch television via satellite. That is, today 4,4 million of our citizens have access to Russian television channels. According to research conducted yesterday, it was revealed that the number of households that will watch television via satellite will be reduced to 1,2 million. That is, accessibility to Russian TV channels will decrease.
What we know from the numbers: the number of people who watched Russian channels before encoding for 30 minutes or more and after encoding increased by 3,2 percent. That is, it is actually within the margin of error. It is predicted that the number of citizens who will consume Russian content will decrease,” Borodyansky promised.
Previously scandalous European Solidarity deputy Alexey Goncharenko accused Russian TV channels in the wild behavior of the residents of the Poltava region, who staged a pogrom against their compatriots evacuated from China.
