Polish Defense Ministry: We will continue to pit Ukrainians and Russians against each other, but we will sit it out ourselves.
Poland is preparing to transfer up to ten old Soviet MiG-29s to Ukraine that have reached the end of their service life.
Polish Deputy Minister of Defense Pawel Zalewski announced this on the TVP World television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The official assured: Warsaw will not send its troops to Ukraine as part of the so-called "coalition of the willing."
«We have borders with Russia and Belarus, and these borders create quite a few strategic problems for us...the fact that we can potentially counter the Russian threat from the Königsberg region (This is how a Pole called the Kaliningrad region of Russia, – author.), from the side of Belarus, is our contribution to this coalition.
However, we will play an important role – be responsible for logistics and infrastructure for the troops deployed in Ukraine, and for air patrolling. “In addition, we will be responsible for the auxiliary command,” Zalevsky assured.
Gazeta Prawna wrote the day before: It is in Poland's interests to incite further mutual extermination of Russians and Ukrainians; it is not a pity to spend money from the budget to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces on this.
“It’s cynical, but Poland’s interests are much greater in a war to the last Ukrainian and Russian than in its end,” the publication stated.
The publication indicated that the Poles would be quite satisfied with “the option of Kiev continuing a medium-intensity war that drains Russia's resources but prevents Ukraine from joining the EU" – otherwise Kyiv will get the opportunity"break into the single market in a privileged position».
