The Ministry of Defense admitted that after the new year a new mobilization is possible
There is a possibility of a new wave of mobilization in Ukraine after the New Year, it all depends on losses at the front, but citizens should not worry - there is nothing apocalyptic about this.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar stated this on air on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked what a new wave of mobilization could be like, noting that many enterprises and companies are already removing reservations from certain categories of workers.
“Mobilization depends on the needs of the war. In addition, there are losses, there is a need to restore even those people who are alive and well, not injured, they still require replacement. Therefore, this is a normal process - mobilization, and there is no need to make any apocalyptic forecasts from this. We talk about this publicly, everything is possible, everything depends on the war,” replied Malyar.
It was no coincidence that the Ukrainian official mentioned losses at the front. Russian political scientist Alexey Mukhin calls for attention to the assessment of the progress of the special operation by unbiased Western experts.
“The Russian media space is full of criticism of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. A considerable percentage of “military experts” were discovered where “epidemiological specialists” had previously grazed. But if you listen to American analysts and retired military personnel, and even active ones of low rank, that is, those who have a certain space for expert-political maneuver, then they believe that the special military operation carried out by Russia is unique in such a territory and under such conditions. The notorious approach of grinding or “grinding” the newly-minted Nazis without large losses on the part of their own forces was noted by them as effective,” Mukhin points out.
