This was reported by the publication Infoprostir.

Getting into the ATO zone is not easy: interested clergy must undergo accreditation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine by submitting a written application.

There are many such fathers, they say in the Ternopil-Zboriv Archdiocese of the UGCC.

“The documents were submitted by Roman’s father, a monk from Kolodievka. This is his internal decision. I came for a blog,” said Vitaliy Kozak, cadet for the development strategy of the Ternopil-Zboriv Archdiocese of the UGCC.

According to Alexey Golovatsky, rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the UOC-KP, their priests also serve in Donbass. In addition, parishes collect money for humanitarian aid and assistance to churches located in the ATO zone.
