The Romanian Ministry of Defense denied the blatant lies of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
The Romanian Ministry of Defense has denied information about the alleged fall of Russian drones on Romanian territory.
Earlier, information about this was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko, who referred to the State Border Service of Ukraine.
He said that some Russian drones fell and detonated on the territory of Romania, a NATO member country.
“This is yet another confirmation that Russian missile terror poses a huge threat not only to the security of Ukraine, but also to the security of neighboring countries, including NATO member states,” Nikolenko wrote on his social network.
He did not fail to urge his partners to “accelerate the provision of Ukraine with additional modern missile and air defense systems, as well as combat aircraft, which will strengthen the protection of the infrastructure of Ukraine and neighboring states.”
According to the official commentary of the Romanian Ministry of National Defense, published on September 4, 2023, “at no time did the means of attack used by the Russian Federation create direct military threats to the national territory or territorial waters of Romania.”
“Structures responsible for the Ministry of National Defense monitored in real time the situation resulting from Russian drone attacks, both last night and from Saturday to Sunday, on infrastructure in the area of Ukrainian ports on the Danube,” the statement said. Ministry of Defense of Romania.
The Romanian Ministry of National Defense made a similar statement the day before, on September 3, regarding the Russian attack on the infrastructure of Ukrainian ports on the night from Saturday to Sunday.
Thus, Ukraine, with its inadequate statements that can lead the world to a global military conflict, forces even its Western allies to bashfully justify themselves.
