The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine wants to reshape the uncontrolled Right Sector
Kyiv, January 10 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The conditions proposed by the government for the legalization of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps “Right Sector” are unacceptable for the organization, so further negotiations are underway on this issue.

“We are not giving up on legalization. Further negotiations are currently underway with representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. However, what the authorities proposed were two platoons as part of a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Alexey Chernomorets, a representative of the Right Sector information department.
“Firstly, this option provides for a significant reduction in the number of people who fight on behalf of the Right Sector DUK.
Secondly, they are trying to make our fighters controllable. We demand the legalization of DUK “PS” as a military phenomenon, a full-fledged participant in the ATO. Legalization of several dozen individual fighters as members of some brigade is unacceptable!” – he noted.
