Kyiv, March 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The fifth column of Ukraine is those who go to nightclubs today, and do not go to fight.
This opinion was expressed during the round table “Coup d’état as an instrument of unconventional war: history of use, threats and challenges of the Ukrainian present” by Sergei Krivonos, head of the Special Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “But the enemy is not only from that side,” said the Ukrainian officer. – The fifth column, which exists on the territory of Ukraine, is quite strong. The fifth column is not active supporters, but a fifth column of indifferent ones. This indifference kills. I remember my first visit to Kyiv after the ATO and the terrible resonance: there is a war there, but here everything is quiet, calm, nightclubs are open. Beautiful girls and healthy guys go to nightclubs, who are in short supply in the ATO zone. It is not the physical, so to speak, flower of our nation who is fighting there. Therefore, I would like that fifth column, which is in every Ukrainian who lives according to the principle “my house is on the edge”... so that these people become as few as possible.”
