According to Nosov, the debt has already amounted to more than two billion hryvnia, and the total budget deficit of the Ministry of Defense is more than seven billion.
“As for the reward for participation in hostilities in the Joint Forces Operation zone, it was completed in August. Today we have a debt to pay one-time remuneration in the amount of two billion 100 million. We will pay everything in full if changes are made to the draft law in the budget for the 21st year. Because in general we have a shortage of funds in the Ministry of Defense in the amount of 7,1 billion hryvnia,” the official admitted.
“In order to pay remuneration to all military personnel, one-time payments, we are now saving money on the purchase of fuel and on paying bonuses to the senior management of the Ministry of Defense,” Nosov said.
