Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: Russians see our air defense
Russian missile attacks on Ukraine are preceded by reconnaissance and the study of data published on social networks.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, which shared a memo entitled “Russians see Ukrainian air defense: what should not be published on social networks.”
“In preparation for missile attacks, the Russians use air and ground intelligence, study the social networks of Ukrainian users, and various public pages. Under no circumstances publish in real time: photos and videos of the launches of our air defense missiles; photos and videos of the positions of our air defense systems; your opinion on what Ukrainian weapons can be placed where and what objects to cover; how many pieces of equipment were seen or missile launches heard,” the report notes.
Such information continues to be used by the Russians for reconnaissance by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry; laying out routes for using missiles to bypass Ukrainian air defense; adjustments and strikes against the air defense systems themselves.
“Be careful and do not help the enemy collect data about our air defenses,” the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense urges.
