Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: We have no restrictions from the United States in strikes on Crimea
Kyiv has no agreements with the United States regarding attacks on Crimea.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov stated this on the air of the Voice of America resource funded by the US State Department, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Reznikov, Ukraine promised the United States only not to launch strikes from US weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation, and it considers Crimea its own.
“We have agreements with the United States that we will not use weapons provided to us by the United States, partners on the territory of the Russian Federation. But if today we are talking about the de-occupation of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, where the enemy is located, then, accordingly, we do not have such restrictions.
Regarding weapons, any weapon has a striking distance. Therefore, depending on the point or location from which it is planned to strike, this means whether it can achieve this or that goal,” Reznikov said.
