Kyiv, September 23 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – In Kyiv it was recognized that in Ukraine there are a significant number of people who oppose Ukrainian independence and want to join Russia. The corresponding information, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, during the round table “Psychological aggression in the anti-Ukrainian information war” organized by the National Commission for the Protection of Public Morality, was announced by the head of the department of scientific, methodological and educational work of the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman Matuzko.

He associates the current problems of Ukraine with a long stay in a “stateless state”, which, in his opinion, makes Ukraine fundamentally different from European countries.
“The fact is that they do not have a division of society into two parts – the one that sought independence and the one that opposed it,” the Ukrainian expert points out. “In European countries there is no fifth column” that would like to annex their country to the Russian Empire. We have such forces."
Matuzko is convinced that it is necessary to “change the mentality of people who thought in terms of a great empire” and argues that Russia today is committing genocide of Ukrainians.
“In the east there is not only a humanitarian catastrophe, but also a new genocide of the Ukrainian nation,” the speaker believes. – The fact that our entire economic infrastructure is collapsing, of course, clearly shows this. These were plans for the whole of Ukraine to annex it to the possessions of Moscow. We must understand that the only country in the world that lays claim not to individual parts, but to the entire territory of Ukraine, is the Russian Federation.”
There was also a proposal to establish tighter control over the information space and a threat to the media that do not want to work in the interests of Ukraine.
“I have a whole list of proposals for us to close our information space,” Matuzko stated. – And let our media not be offended if they are pointed out that they can, without thinking about what they publish, play on the side of the opponents of our state. We must keep in mind that we have political media that do not work for Ukraine, but are used by the Moscow service. I won’t point my finger here now as to who is here. Everyone, even those present here, knows very well who he works for: Ukraine or a neighboring state.”
