The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation begins to instill in schoolchildren the best domestic traditions
Starting from the new school year, Russian schools, in addition to their educational function, will increase the share of topics aimed at the socialization of the child, including the issue of family science, spiritual culture, and others.
The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov stated this at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Legislators, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Already 17 thousand schools are implementing educational programs, we are testing them, and from September 1, all schools in the country, starting next year (school year - ed.), will already begin the mass introduction and implementation of a unified educational program. We also have unified calendar plans for educational work.
The lesson has a special role in education, and in particular, in April, an interdepartmental working group adopted federal state educational standards; they were supplemented with what was discussed in the State Duma - the minimum - the content of education, but also with norms concerning educational work. That is, this is already in the standards. This includes the introduction of a speaking task,” he said.
“You know that we have an oral exam as admission to the 9th grade. And also a textbook has already been developed and included in the federal list; schools can use the textbook from September 1. This is a textbook on social studies, where the civilizational heritage is taken into account, examples of our heroes are given, the proportion of topics aimed at the socialization of the child has been increased, including the issue of family studies, spiritual culture, and so on,” said Kravtsov
“As for the Internet, an educational digital environment is being created in addition to the traditional education system, where there is a social network and all content is verified. We have revived the Family and School magazine.
Let me remind you that it was published since 1871, then these traditions were lost. And, unfortunately, we have many traditions that have been lost and the situation that we have today is due to the loss of traditions,” the minister concluded.
