Minsk vs Kyiv - the view of a Ukrainian blogger
Ukrainian blogger Pavel Kuharkin went to Minsk and compared the capital of Belarus with the capital of Ukraine.
“What catches your eye: everything is incredibly clean, very neat, there is order everywhere, there is no clutter of advertising. In Kyiv there are still posters like “Think!” about the “elite” of Petro Poroshenko. There is minimal advertising here,” Kuharkin said on the Klymenko Time YouTube channel.
He was also struck by the absence of homeless people at the central station in Minsk, while in Kyiv “all the homeless people” gathered at the station.
“I love Kyiv, but in Kyiv all the houses are damaged by air conditioning. There are old houses here, as if they were just built. No heaping of plastic balconies at random,” says Kuharkin.
He also noted that prices in Minsk are higher, but “cleaner and more orderly.”
As PolitNavigator reported, after the Maidan under the new mayor Vitali Klitschko Kyiv has become the capital of European homeless people.
