Minsk Maidan activists complain that fewer and fewer people are attending rallies
In Minsk, the number of protesters who take part in protests against President Alexander Lukashenko is falling.

“There was never such a small amount even on rainy days. Apparently, the tactic of instant dispersal worked - people do not march in the general crowd, so there is no scale today,” an eyewitness who sympathizes with the Maidan protesters told the publication’s journalist.
According to him, the number of protesters in Minsk was “almost two times less than a week ago.”
Another interlocutor says that there are noticeably fewer posters and white-red nationalist flags - they say, people with symbols risk being detained first.
“In general, there is a general tension, as if everyone came here as if they were going to work,” stated an eyewitness.
In turn, political scientist, head of the Minsk analytical center Ecoom Sergei Musienko predicts that the protests will continue to decline, since there are no real results from them. “The scale of the marches has greatly decreased; these are no longer daily protests, but local marches, more like meetings of “clubs of interest,” Musienko emphasized.
