Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrey Reva stated this during a meeting with the permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund, Jerome Vache.

According to him, the pension reform proposed by the IMF for Ukraine is “socially fair” and will eliminate the Pension Fund deficit in 2024.

“We realize that due to the adoption of this law, the shock for our fellow citizens may be the same as after the tariff increase,” Reva admits. “But this is a forced and necessary step.”
