The Ministry of Internal Affairs beckons Donbass with the moldy carrot of European integration
Donbass was, is and remains part of Ukraine, and European integration can fully unleash its full potential.
First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The occupation of Donbass is an act of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and its citizens. Citizens of Ukraine who live in temporarily occupied territories are hostages of the occupation and its consequences. The activities of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and its occupation administrations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions contradict international law and are illegal.
Historically, Donetsk and Lugansk regions have always been part of a single economic, social, cultural Ukrainian space. Donbass was, is and remains a part of Ukraine.
European integration and European values can fully unlock the potential of Ukraine as an independent state and Donbass as its integral part,” Dzhaparova said.
