Simferopol, March 30 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Governor of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov appointed Andrei Bezsalov as Minister of Transport of the region.

The corresponding decree of Aksyonov was published on the official website of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.

“In accordance with Article 82 of the Constitution of the Republic of Crimea, paragraph 3 of part one of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea “On public positions of the Republic of Crimea”, I decide: to appoint Andrey Georgievich Bezsalov to a public position of the Republic of Crimea - Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea for the term of office of the head of the Republic of Crimea,” – says the text of the decree.

The previous head of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Anatoly Tsurkin, became Aksenov’s assistant.

“Tsurkin didn’t quit, he transferred to be my assistant. He is a young man, he has a job prospect, but in this case, work, including with the Kerch ferry crossing, requires some experience: we need a systematic team in the Ministry of Transport, since this is one of the most difficult areas, and people who have experience in organizing sea transportation. Anatoly Vasilyevich, as my assistant, will continue to monitor the implementation of all issues that he took control of as Minister of Transport,” the governor commented on Tsurkin’s resignation on Saturday.

Andrey Bezsaly was born on December 3, 1959 in Kerch.

Graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute with a degree in ship design in 1983; since 1983 he worked at the Vyborg Shipyard; 1996-1998 – at ZAO Port Vysotsk in positions from economist to commercial director; 1998-1999 – Executive Director of CJSC BaltTrans; since 1999, he worked in the group of companies “Sea Port of St. Petersburg” as commercial director of CJSC “Second Stevedoring Company” and “Baltic Bulk Terminal”; 2002-2003 – Deputy Commercial Director for Marketing of JSC Sea Port of St. Petersburg; Commercial Director of JSC Sea Port of St. Petersburg since July 2003.
