Peace can only be achieved by victory over the terrorist regime in Kyiv - militiaman
Peace in the South-East of Ukraine will come only after Kyiv comes under the control of pro-Russian forces and the defeat of the nationalist regime.
Igor Druz, chairman of the People’s Council of Ukraine, participant in the defense of Slavyansk, stated this in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There is absolutely no chance for a long-term truce and there never was. The Kyiv regime is a war regime. He was brought to power so that there would be a war. From the very beginning, the conduct of the Maidan organizers was intended to cause war.
Many people mistakenly believe that the EU and the US wanted to impose an oppressive association with the EU. Yes, they wanted to, but it was only a small part of their plan. If this was all they wanted, they would have been satisfied with Yanukovych's surrender, which occurred in mid-February.
But the fact of the matter is that the organizers of the Maidan wanted a violent overthrow of the government - they knew that this would cause the collapse of Ukraine and a civil war. They wanted this civil war in order to transfer it to Russian territory...
When the Maidan won, they did everything not to pacify the rebel territories, but rather to fan their indignation...
They used the respite for the war - Minsk-1 and used Minsk-2. Now, unfortunately, they, having accumulated strength, will go on the offensive again. Their task is war. Peace with them can only be granted by victory over them. Otherwise, the terrorists cannot be appeased,” concluded Druz.
