Peace in Donbass depends on God and Putin - Kuchma
Kyiv, September 12 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin should sit down at the negotiating table to resolve the conflict in Donbass.

“Peace in Donbass depends on God and on Putin, and everything must be done to get Putin to sit down at the negotiating table,” Kuchma said during a discussion at the 11th meeting of the Yalta European Strategy. “Either I will go down in history as a peacemaker, or as a person who sat down at the negotiating table with terrorists,” he added, speaking about peace negotiations on Donbass and their prospects.
As PolitNavigator reported, Leonid Kuchma repeatedly represented Ukraine during meetings of the trilateral contact group with the leaders of the proclaimed Lugansk and Donetsk people's republics.
