The world has lost interest in Ukraine
Ukrainian problems have long turned into a routine from which world players are trying to escape.
Ukrainian political strategist Nikolai Volgov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think the UN General Assembly for Ukraine will be neither interesting nor important. Still, it is obvious that Ukraine has not been in the mainstream of world politics for a long time. Our problems have become such a routine that many are trying to escape from. Therefore, the fact that it will be held in the format of a teleconference, many will even exhale, that they will not have to look for workarounds, shake off some annoying petitioners.
I think the topics that are now mainstream will be discussed, on the agenda, and first of all this is the global pandemic and its consequences, global consequences, consequences for the world economy, assistance to countries that are developing and cannot cope. Perhaps this is cooperation in the field of virology, immunology, and vaccine development. Therefore, I don’t think that Donbass and the emergence of a fragile Ukrainian democracy will worry anyone,” the expert said.
“Well, Zelensky will have a video message, they will probably parse it into quotes,” noted the conference moderator.
“Well, obviously we’ll break this down into quotes. We’ll get together in a week and we’ll sort it out into quotes for the domestic market,” Volgov objected skeptically. – Someone will say – what a brilliant speech, bloggers on “green feeding”. Some, on the contrary, from the “Svidomo” adherents of the gray-haired hetman will say - this is a failure. Remember how Poroshenko spoke, this was it, and this is like that.”
