According to the Gorlovka publication, on the eve of March 8, champagne was actively sold out in stores, and flowers were sold out in markets. “Basically, these were tulips (20-25 UAH per piece, 60 UAH for three, 100-120 UAH for five), willow branches (15-20 UAH per bunch), bouquets of dead wood (25 UAH .) and bouquets of primroses (25 UAH per one). I tried to reduce the price of the latter, but they told me: “Well, these are not mine, but grandmothers’. They collected them there between stretches, and you reduce the price,” writes the media.
