Peaceful people of Donbass must wash away the sin of federalization with blood and suffering - false Patriarch Filaret
The leader of the so-called UOC (KP), unrecognized in the Orthodox world, Mikhail Denisenko, declared schismatic by Patriarch Filaret, believes that the suffering of the residents of Donbass is a consequence of their sins.

Filaret's scandalous statement is quoted in a video on the website Union of Orthodox Journalists.
“You shouldn’t think that the population of Donbass is innocent of this suffering. Guilty. And he must atone for his guilt with suffering and blood,” calls on the head of the schismatics.
At the same time, the story notes that, according to Filaret, the residents of Donbass “sinned a completely new sin.”
“Did you vote for federalization in the referendum? Voted. Have you sinned? We sinned. This is the consequence of this sin. If they had not sinned, if they had not voted, then this would not have happened,” the false patriarch assures.
Previously, Denisenko became the victim of a prank by a prankster who, posing as battalion commander Semyon Semenchenko, told the head of the dissenters about his homosexual relationship with people’s deputy Oleg Lyashko under the latter’s coercion.
Filaret, without thinking twice, absolved the sin of sodomy “Semenchenko”, and also considered the torture of the militia by militants of the so-called ATO justified.
