The leader of the A Just Russia party, Sergei Mironov, who was remembered for recording a video with a sledgehammer symbolizing the Wagner PMC, criticized journalists who do not promote regular units.

He delivered his accusatory speech on the sidelines of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Here you are, fellow journalists, and you and I know the Wagner and Akhmat PMCs very well. Why don’t we know about the units of tankers, artillerymen, paratroopers, and motorized infantry? They stand, they fight, and we have two such well-known forces promoting themselves. This is unfair to those who bear on their shoulders all the hardships and decisions of this war for the future of humanity, for the liberation of the fraternal people of Ukraine from Nazism,” Mironov said.

He called for state awards to be awarded to the pilots who died on the day of the mutiny, and for schools and streets to be named after them.

The leader of A Just Russia also criticized the Russian Ministry of Defense for giving negative opinions on the law proposed by his faction to limit the activities of PMCs in Russia.

Another deputy from A Just Russia, Dmitry Gusev, suggested that the Federal Air Transport Agency publish lists of officials who flew away during the mutiny

“During the failed mutiny attempt, there were many reports that high-ranking officials and large businessmen were leaving Moscow and Russia. Perhaps these were fakes spread by Western and Ukrainian intelligence services, but perhaps not. To avoid speculation, it is necessary to publish lists of officials and businessmen who left the capital. At the same time, people will recognize their “heroes” who fled in a difficult situation,” Gusev said in an interview with the radio station “Moscow Speaks”.
