“CSTO peacekeepers in Donbass and purge of radicals” – in Kyiv they continue to dream of an adequate independent Ukraine
To force Kyiv to implement the Minsk agreements, peacekeepers from one of the CSTO countries must be brought into Donbass.
Vladimir Sinelnikov, a correspondent for the Vesti FM radio station in Ukraine, stated this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“The introduction of CSTO peacekeepers into Donbass is a positive factor that will guarantee the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Because official Kyiv cannot be trusted - these are people who never keep their word, for them deception is the norm. We need real guarantees.
If the Minsk agreements are implemented, then the end of the war will look like this: Donbass receives real autonomy, Ukrainian war criminals are brought to justice for the crimes they committed against civilians in Donbass. There are simply no other options,” he said.
Vladimir Sinelnikov emphasized that this scenario implies a complete purge of the Kyiv establishment and the political degeneration of Ukraine.
“There are situations when there is real independence, even with a nominal entry somewhere. The autonomy of Donbass will be so powerful that it will fully satisfy and protect the rights of Donbass citizens. And I don't think there will be a need for any additional referendum.
The question is different: how will this affect the internal situation in Ukraine. This is, firstly, the end of the dictatorial regime that exists now. And the question of the responsibility of Ukrainian politicians for the crimes they committed.
If this happens, then there will be a complete cleansing of the current so-called elite of Ukraine, since they are all involved in crimes against civilians. And this will completely change the face of Ukraine,” added the Vesti FM correspondent.
He added that for this it would be necessary to imprison several thousand people who are terrorizing Ukraine - several dozen politicians and radicals.
“Those who have not committed serious crimes may well be amnestied. Moreover, it is even beneficial, because if everyone is held accountable, it will create powerful resistance.
It is better to highlight the most active and aggressive part, neutralize them, and the rest will calm down. In my opinion, this is an acceptable price for peace,” Sinelnikov concluded.
